Fall 2008 NUSA Board:

 

• Mike Humbert is currently the NUSA Board President and is coaching girls U14 (NUSA Crush). Mike has been coaching for about 20 years. He was also the president of the club back in the early 90s. 836-1840 (home) or 422-7223 (cell)
• Tom Sierschula has held the treasurer position for several years. Tom is also the tournament director for the Matt Dudon Memorial Cup. Tom is also the treasurer for the High School Parents Association.  836-1914 (home) or 902-5822 (cell).
• Angie Didier is currently the secretary and has a child on the boys U14 (NUSA Nitro) and is the team administrator for the NUSA Nitro.  837-6808 (home) or 248-7341 (cell).
• Theresa Lingenfelter is currently a member at large, is team administrator for the NUSA Sonics  and has a child on the girls U13 team (NUSA Sonics).  833-0042 (home) or 248-6518 (cell).
• John Rabius is currently a member at large, is the assistance coach for and has a son on the boys U14 (NUSA Nitro). John is also an assistant coach for the reserve team at Northmont  832-0308.
• Barry Borton is currently a member at large and coaches the girls U10 (NUSA Fire) team.  Barry is the head coach of the Girls Reserve team at Northmont High School .  836-8498 (home). Barry has been coaching for well over 20 years and was in the club since its inception back in the late 70s.

** Elections for board members will take place in November.  If you are interested in serving on the NUSA Board or know of someone who may be interested, please contact Mike Humbert  or any board member by Oct. 20.

Trainers for 2008 Fall Season: 

Each team will have three training sessions (included in the cost of your club fees) for the fall season.  Trainers and dates for each team will be chosen by the team’s coaching staff and the information of training dates will be shared with parents and players once dates, times and location have been set.

v  Kelly Reynolds—Girls trainer—Currently assistant coach for the Northmont Girls Varsity Soccer Team. is

 

v  Sarah Crane—Girls trainer—Currently assistant JV Girls coach at Northmont.

 v Matt Shaltry—Boys or Girls trainer—Currently assistant Varsity Soccer Coach at Northmont High School .

 

v  Kelly Poppaw—Girls trainer—Currently a junior playing soccer at Eastern Michigan University . Kelly will be unavailable to help out until school is over in May.

 

 

v  John Boucuvalas—Boys or Girls trainer—Currently runs various soccer camps for both girls and boys.   Former Fairmont High School Head Coach.

 

v George Demetriades—Boys or Girls trainer—Currently Assistance Coach for U.D. Women’s Soccer and former Head Coach at Northmont High School . 

 

v  Mark Spirk-- Boys or Girls trainer - 14th season as Northmont HS Head Coach, hold NSCAA National coaching diploma, six-time conf. COY, five-time Dayton area COY, Northmont Athletic Hall of Fame inductee.

 

 All of these trainers have a great soccer background and are available to teach almost anything. Please give them a call and discuss what you would like to accomplish at a practice so they can be well prepared when they come to train your players.
