Cesar Rivera – NUSA ’94 Nitro
Cesar Rivera was born and raised in Monterrey, where he developed his love of the game. At 16 he moved to Cancun, and continued playing soccer. At age 21 he played for the local professional team, Caribeños de Cancun. In 1993 he moved to the where he continues playing both outdoor and indoor soccer. He became the Nitro coach in 2004 and enjoys coaching and teaching the boys life-long skills. Cesar says, “I love this sport. I play it, and to me, it is the best and biggest sport in the world. I spend a lot of time watching it, reading about it, and continuing to learn from it”. Cesar also coaches at Northmont High School. He currently lives in Englewood with his wife Stephanie and their three children, Austin, Elena, and Marcos.
